AbilityFirst Celebrates 50th Annual Festival

Celebrating half a century of culinary excellence and community support, the 50th annual AbilityFirst Food & Wine Festival invites guests to an enchanting evening at the Urquhart residence in South Pasadena on Sunday, June 9, from 5-8 p.m.
This landmark, outdoor event promises gourmet delights from local restaurants, cocktail bars, breweries and vintners, offering a tantalizing array of flavors.
In honoring Greg and Heba Wood, the festival underscores its commitment to recognizing outstanding contributions to its mission. With event co-chairs Anita Lawler and Mary Spellman, and emcee Nancy Longo, the festival promises not only exceptional culinary experiences but also celebrates AbilityFirst’s 98-year legacy of empowering individuals with disabilities.
“From fostering social connections to providing vital employment training, this year’s festival encapsulates a vibrant celebration of AbilityFirst’s transformative work,” the nonprofit said in a statement.
