South Pasadena High School students recently experienced the second annual Career Fair, a special three-day event co-hosted by the SPHS Counseling Department and the SPHS PTSA.
Professionals across a variety of careers were on hand during the students’ lunchtime to talk with students about their jobs. Some of the subjects the guest speakers touched on were specific work experiences, daily routines, the hiring process, what they like about their jobs, challenges they might’ve encountered, company cultures, growth opportunities within their field, educational pathways and more.
More than 50 volunteers, including many SPUSD parents, represented a range of industries, such as business/finance, entertainment, education, health care, journalism, law, marketing, STEAM and transportation.
