The Review
The South Pasadena High School Instrumental Music Program held their 2023 Winter Concert on Dec. 7 in Anderson Auditorium.
SPHS Bands and Orchestra Director Howard Crawford welcomed the audience to an evening of performances from the advanced orchestra, combined concert and symphonic bands, and the jazz ensemble. Crawford also took time to set the stage and introduce each piece of music with information on the song’s composer and origin story.
The SPHS Choir also made an appearance to accompany the advanced orchestra in an uplifting performance of the “Hallelujah Chorus.”
