Eighth graders at South Pasadena Middle School were promoted in a ceremony on June 4 with families in attendance.
Before the promotion event, the students gathered in the school’s historic auditorium. Assistant principal Stephen Lewis offered words of wisdom to the soon-to-be graduates. Middle schoolers also heard excerpts from the Dr. Seuss classic “Oh, The Places You’ll Go” to help prepare them for the road ahead.
The ceremony marked the completion of the students’ middle school journey as they make the move to high school in the fall.
