South Pasadena Educational Foundation hosted its annual Parti Gras event “Bootleggers’ Ball” at the Arroyo Seco Golf Course in Pasadena on May 18.
More than 1,000 parents and community members attended the fun night of auctions, art, fare from local restaurants, drinks and dancing. The one-night, speakeasy-like event will benefit the public schools of South Pasadena.
SPEF President Emilia Aldana and co-chair Saida Staudenmaier were in attendance greeting and spoke at the event.
The foundation supports the educational excellence of South Pasadena public schools by providing funds, enrichment programs, grants and equipment. This is possible through the generosity and donations of the community.
