South Pasadena Police received an alert from the department’s Automated License Plate Reader System about a stolen 2020 gray Hyundai sedan in Los Angeles on March 12 at 10:30 p.m.
Officers responded to the alert and located the vehicle in the 1400 block of Mission Street. Authorities verified that the vehicle was stolen and conducted a traffic stop.
The driver, identified as 32-year-old North Hollywood resident Haroutun Ayvayan, was taken into custody without incident. Ayvazyan was later booked at the Alhambra City Jail and held in custody for multiple felony warrants.
