South Pasadena Police Department Crime Report

Police arrested a suspect on Jan. 30 after the suspect entered Bristol Farms in the 600 block of Fair Oaks Avenue at 3:53 p.m. and stole food items. When an employee tried to confront them, the suspect hit the employee in the face.

A suspect ignited firewood at Bristol Farms on Feb. 3 at 3 a.m. and then fled the scene. Store employees extinguished the flames, and the suspect was later arrested.

Police arrested a suspect who pried open the rear door of SPA Korean in the 1100 block of Fair Oaks Avenue and stole a jewelry box and keys on Feb. 4 at 1:56 a.m.

A suspect attempted to break into a residence in the 1100 block of Brent Avenue by placing a step stool below the resident’s side window to force the window open between Jan. 31 and Feb. 5.

These alleged crimes and incidents were reported to the South Pasadena Police Department between Tuesday, Jan. 30, and Monday, Feb. 5. Information was gathered from a weekly crime summary published by SPPD’s Crime Prevention Unit.
