South Pasadena Police Department Crime Report

A suspect entered a residential complex’s closed-off courtyard in the 700 block of Orange Grove Avenue through unknown means and stole two bicycles between 7 p.m. on Jan. 17 and 7:30 a.m. on Jan. 18.

A suspect previously being pursued by the Alhambra Police Department for stealing a 2004 Ford F250 drove into South Pasadena and was involved in a traffic collision at 3:32 p.m. on Jan. 22 near Ramona Avenue and Oak Street. The suspect fled the scene before police arrived.

A suspect cut and removed the catalytic converter from a 2010 Toyota Prius in the 1900 block of Lemon Street between 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 19 and 7:15 a.m. on Jan. 20.

A suspect was arrested for smashing the window of a victim’s vehicle in the 1100 block of Fair Oaks Avenue on Jan. 16 at 7:07 p.m.

These alleged crimes and incidents were reported to the South Pasadena Police Department between Tuesday, Jan. 16, and Monday, Jan. 22. Information was gathered from a weekly crime summary published by SPPD’s Crime Prevention Unit.
