Students across SPUSD were recognized for their artistic submissions in the South Pasadena Council PTA Reflections Award Exhibit on Nov. 16.
This year’s competition — themed “I am hopeful because …” — offered six different categories that students in the elementary through high school levels could submit their artwork.
Artists were judged on their creative piece along with their artist statement, which the artist demonstrated their critical thinking and application of the theme to their submission.
Twenty SPUSD students were awarded for their hard work. They will go on to compete in the National PTA Art Showcase.
