Holiday Happenings Around South Pasadena

Nov. 23, 2 a.m.-Nov. 30, 6 a.m.: South Pasadena Thanksgiving holiday parking exemption

Nov. 26: Oneonta Congregational Church Alternative Christmas gift Fair, following 9:30 a.m. service; select gifts or make donations to charities. For further information, go to Oneonta.org.

Nov. 29: Pre-Chanukah Bash, Chabad of South Pasadena, 722 Fremont Ave., 4:30 p.m. To RSVP, go to JewishSouthPasadena.com/JKC.

Nov. 30: Menorah and Holiday Tree Lighting ceremony, 5:30 p.m. Farmers Market on Meridian Street.

Dec. 1-3: Friends of the Library Holiday Book Sale, Community Room of the South Pasadena Library, Dec. 1-6 p.m.-8 p.m.; Dec. 2, 11-3 p.m.; Dec. 3, 1-4 p.m.

Dec. 1: South Pasadena Theatre Workshop Production of “A Christmas Carol” begins at 7 p.m. For information on dates, times and ticket information go to southpasadenatheatreworkshop.com.

Dec. 2: Tiger Run, South Pasadena High School, 10 a.m.

Dec. 5: Holy Family Catholic Church, tree lighting ceremony, following 5:30 p.m. mass

Dec. 6: South Pasadena Winter Choir concert, at South Pasadena Middle School, 6:10-7:40 p.m.

Dec. 6: South Pasadena Instrumental Winter Concert, SPHS Auditorium, 7-9 p.m.

Dec. 9: Breakfast with Santa, Dec. 9, War Memorial Building, 9.m.-11 a.m., $24 per ticket, children under 2 admitted free. For ticket information go to southpasadenaca.gov.events.
