South Pasadena High School capped off a week of Homecoming activities with the much anticipated Homecoming Football Game and Senior Night on Oct. 20.
Before the start of the game, SPHS recognized and celebrated 30 graduating seniors — 23 from the varsity football team, one team manager and six members of the Pep Squad.
At halftime, the Homecoming Court came out onto the field for the crowning of the Most Royal Tiger, senior Colin Wong. Then, excitement continued on for the packed home stands as the Tigers went on to win the game in overtime against the La Cañada Spartans, putting them in second in the Rio Hondo League with a 3-1 record.
