Mary Zahorecz, aged 63, passed away on March 18, 2022, in Layton, Utah.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at noon at Turner & Stevens, Live Oak Memorial Park in Monrovia, California.
Mary (Mary Elizabeth Anne Allen) was born on November 11, 1958, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, to Lorraine (d. 2016) and Gordon Allen (d. 2003). After relocating the family to South Pasadena in 1965, Mary attended South Pasadena Middle School, and South Pasadena High School, graduating in 1976.
Mary married Andrew Robert Zahorecz in 1978 and together they had three children: Gordon Paul, Andrew Eric, and Kate Elizabeth. In addition, they have five grandchildren: Payton, Addison, Zoey, Olivia, and Siena.
Mary was a former vice president at Nelson Miller, Inc. (formerly, Miller Dial). Her joys included hockey, golf, woodworking, and spending time with her family.
Mary is survived by Gordon Paul and his wife, Heather Ann; Andrew Eric and his wife, Hayley; Katie Elizabeth and her husband, Nick; her brother, Robert and his wife, Irene; her sister Linda and her husband, Mark; as well her grandchildren.
