The Restoration Concerts Committee of The Friends of the South Pasadena Public Library announced the new 2024-25 concert season running Sept. 15 through May 4, 2025.
The eight-concert series opens Sept. 15 with a violin and piano duo featuring Roger Wilke and Rudolfo Leone. The New Hollywood String Quartet, the quartet in residence, will perform two concerts. Renowned pianist Robert Thies also returns.
Other performers include the Mojave Trio, the Los Angeles Wind and Piano Sextet, Susan Greenberg on flute, Maya Magub on violin and Christina Montes Mateo on harp.
Season tickets cost $160 for all eight concerts, a $40 savings over individual ticket prices. Concerts are Sundays at 4 p.m. in the South Pasadena Library Community Room.
The all-volunteer Restoration Concerts Committee aims to provide affordable, world-class music to South Pasadena and surrounding communities. Net profits benefit the library and community room.
