South Pasadena High School was represented by standout athletes at the 2024 CIF Southern Section Masters Meet at Moorpark High School on May 18.
In the girls’ events, Mia Holden finished second in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 43.07 seconds. She also placed sixth in the 100 hurdles, clocking in at 14.46. Abigail Errington secured second in the 3,200 with a time of 10:20.36.
In the boys’ events, Keeran Murray finished eighth in the 800 with a time of 1:53.02. Meanwhile, the 4×400 relay team of Michael Scarince, Adam Ruiz, Rocket McDonald and Murray placed 15th with a time of 8:08.75.
The two-day 104th CIF State Track & Field Championships kicked off May 24 at Buchanan High School in Clovis.
