The Review
The ninth annual South Pasadena Main Event Poker Tournament fundraiser was held on May 4 at the War Memorial in South Pasadena.
Co-hosted by the South Pasadena DUDES (Dads Uniting Dads in Education and Service) and the South Pasadena Middle School Athletic Booster Club, the event was attended by about 150 people who enjoyed food, drinks and music, along with rounds of Texas Hold ’em. This year’s winner was local parent Bil Clemons.
The funds raised at the event support the organization’s charitable endeavors and the middle school’s competitive and intramural sports programs.
The event was sponsored by Nichole Dunville of Coldwell Banker Realty, Mamma’s Brick Oven Pizza & Pasta, Ohana Brewing Company and Jason Bergman of the Agency.
