Holy Family Names New Pastor

Father Ricardo Viveros has been named pastor at Holy Family Catholic Church in South Pasadena.
The news of Viveros’ appointment was first announced in Wednesday’s Holy Family bulletin.
“I ask your prayers as I begin this new chapter in my priesthood,” Viveros said in his message to congregants. “This is the best birthday present I could ask for.”
Viveros, who was ordained as a priest in 2008, has been leading the congregation as parish administrator since last October. Prior to that role, he served as pastor at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Atwater Village.
Viveros has also served as an associate pastor at St. Genevieve in Panorama City and St. John Vianney in Hacienda Heights.
Holy Family’s newest pastor will take over for Father Albert Bahhuth, who was named as an auxiliary bishop by Archbishop Gomez.
