All Abilities Club Hosts Earth Day Craft Workshop

The South Pasadena Public Library is inviting residents to join its monthly All Abilities Club on April 12 for an Earth Day-themed craft activity.
The program is geared toward adults with developmental disabilities. During All Abilities Club meetings, movie screenings will be held along with crafts workshops.
The club is open to adult members of the public, adult family members, aides, caretakers and teachers.
All Abilities Club meetings happen every second Friday of the month at 10 a.m. in the Library Community Room located at 1115 El Centro St. The club is intended for adult audiences.
Registration is not required.
Visitors to the April 12 event, scheduled for 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., will get to decorate reusable bags. The follow-up event will be held May 10 with the theme “Outer Space Craft Activity: Yarn-Wrapped Planets.”
The program is made possible by the support of the Friends of the South Pasadena Public Library. The South Pasadena Public Library is located at 1100 Oxley St.

The library is open Monday, Friday, Saturday 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 10 a.m.-8 p.m. and Sunday 1 p.m.-5 p.m.
Upon request made no later than four business days before the event, the city will provide a reasonable accommodation for a qualified person with a disability to have equal access to the event.
