South Pasadena Police Department Crime Report

Police were called to the 1100 block of Montrose Avenue for a residential burglary call on Feb. 15. Upon investigation, police determined that a theft took place between the hours of 8:14 a.m. and 6 p.m. Reports stated that unknown suspects gained entry to the home through an unlocked rear window and stole jewelry and handbags.

A rideshare driver was assaulted during a trip near the area of Fremont Avenue and Columbia Street after the man she was driving grabbed her breasts. The suspect was arrested at 4:49 a.m. on Feb. 16.

An 84-year-old man was arrested following a road rage incident in the 600 block of Fair Oaks Avenue. At about 9:55 a.m. on Feb. 15, the suspect exited his vehicle and hit the victim with a cane following a traffic interaction with the victim.

A man was arrested for indecent exposure after he was caught masturbating in a restroom at the South Pasadena Library in the 1100 block of Oxley Street at 2 p.m. on Feb. 13.

These alleged crimes and incidents were reported to the South Pasadena Police Department between Tuesday, Feb. 13, and Monday, Feb. 19. Information was gathered from a weekly crime summary published by SPPD’s Crime Prevention Unit.
