The Review
The South Pasadena High School Instrumental Music Program recently held its Winter Concert in the Anderson Auditorium.
Director of SPHS Bands and Orchestra Howard Crawford welcomed the audience to an evening of performances from the Advanced Orchestra, Combined Concert and Symphonic Bands, and the Jazz Ensemble.
Additionally, Crawford also took time to set the stage and introduced each piece of music with some interesting background information on the composer and the origins of the melodies.
The SPHS Choir also made an appearance to accompany the Advanced Orchestra in an uplifting performance of the “Hallelujah” chorus.
