South Pasadena Middle School students and their families had the opportunity to learn more about South Pasadena High School elective programs during the high school’s Eighth Grade Family Night on Jan. 25.
Attendees kicked off the evening at the Tiger Patio with a warm welcome from Principal John Eldred as well as a Tiger spirit-filled routine from the Cheer Squad.
Visiting families had the opportunity to learn about seven different elective programs, including an overview of the course requirements, classroom activities and overall mission. Armed with this information, students are better able to make informed decisions prior to registration for their ninth-grade classes, as well as begin to think about their four-year plan.
