South Pasadena High School invited South Pasadena Unified School District students and their families to the varsity girls’ basketball game for a special SPHS Community Day on Jan. 24.
As part of the event, these special student guests had the opportunity to perform with the SPHS cheer squad during halftime, as well as join the cheering from the bleachers to encourage the players during their 85-51 win against La Cañada.
The game marked an especially momentous occasion as the team recognized Senior Dylan Tse who reach an impressive sports milestone by scoring 2,000 high school career points on Jan. 15.
