South Pasadena Police Department Crime Report

A man is still at large after following a person home and robbing them at gunpoint in their driveway in the 1300 block of Via Del Rey at 5:17 p.m. on Jan. 26. As the victim pulled into their garage, the suspect approached, revealed a gun and demanded the victim’s belongings, which included a wallet, cash, a bag and cellphones. The victim complied and the suspect fled in his vehicle, a BMW 3 series.

Police were called to the 1200 block of Indiana Avenue regarding a residential burglary at 8:30 a.m. on Jan. 29. A man entered the residence through an unlocked sliding door. Around that time, the homeowner returned to the residence and saw the suspect fleeing the area carrying a pillowcase containing unknown items.

An unknown suspect entered a 2014 Subaru Crosstrek and stole Airpods, cash and a bag in the 1700 block of Grevelia at 8 a.m. on Jan. 18.

These alleged crimes and incidents were reported to the South Pasadena Police Department between Tuesday, Jan. 23, and Monday, Jan. 29. Information was gathered from a weekly crime summary published by SPPD’s Crime Prevention Unit.
