The Review

Marengo Elementary School embraced the holiday spirit of giving during the “Marengo Cares” event on Dec. 5, when students and their families met in the campus auditorium to make cards and package 400 hygiene bags for Union Station Homeless Services in Pasadena.
Financial donations from Marengo families also enabled organizers to purchase a variety of personal items for each package.
The event supported a great local nonprofit, as well as gave participants the opportunity experience the joy of helping others during this special time of year.
