Tigers Fall in Opener

The South Pasadena High School varsity boys’ soccer team lost to visiting Burbank 2-1 in their season opener on Nov. 28 as sophomore Zack Millar scored the Tigers’ lone goal.
Junior Joel Kim and sophomore Sam Rodak each tallied two shots on goal, while junior Ethan Kung and freshman Jackai Williams finished with one shot on goal. Sophomore Mick Dubester recorded seven saves, while senior Sawyer Fox had one save.
The Tigers (0-1 overall) will visit Flintridge Prep in La Cañada for a nonleague match on Dec. 1 at 3:15 p.m. before hosting Workman High of the City of Industry on Dec. 6.
