The South Pasadena boys’ and girls’ cross-country teams headed into the first Rio Hondo League meet of the season on the back of an impressive showing at the Woodbridge Invitational.
Led by freshman Michael Scarince, the Tigers’ boys’ team won the first league race of the season, while the girls finished second behind La Cañada at Lacy Park on Sept. 21.
