The South Pasadena High School Tiger Booster Club invited families to celebrate the football season at the inaugural Tiger Tailgate party on Friday, Sept. 18.
Many joined the fun, which featured Tiger swag giveaways, great food, games and a special appearance by the marching band whose rendition of “Eye of the Tiger” had the crowd cheering. Fans then made their way over to the home bleachers to watch the home team defeat Alhambra High School by a score of 46-7, which improved the Tigers overall record to 5-0.
Next up, the South Pasadena Tigers will host the San Marino Titans on Friday, Sept. 29, in a game between local rivals.
