Arts Council Showcases ‘Bird’s Eye’ Exhibit

The South Pasadena Arts Council is holding a free exhibit of “Bird’s Eye,” works by noted Judson Studio designer and artist Reed Weston Bradley, through Nov. 11 at the SPARC Gallery in the Chamber of Commerce.
“Bird’s Eye” is an exhibition of plein-air landscapes by the Los Angeles-based artist. Bradley’s stained-glass designs for the historic Judson Studio are found in secular and religious settings worldwide. He is also a plein-air artist who finds inspiration for his watercolor landscapes as an avid hiker and an explorer of outdoor green spaces.
Among the works at the SPARC Gallery displaying Bradley’s fine brushwork and sensitive eye for beauty are resonant images of trees and foliage at local parklands in shadow and sunlight, watched over by the distant San Gabriel Mountains. Admission to “Bird’s Eye” is free. The SPARC Gallery @ South Pasadena Chamber of Commerce, operated by the South Pasadena Arts Council, is located at 1121 Mission St., South Pasadena.
Gallery hours vary. To schedule a visit, contact Blue Trimarchi at (626) 441-2339.
