South Pasadena Police Department Crime Report

A male suspect was arrested on Sept. 1 for unlawfully setting a fire by burning a pile of pine needles near Fremont Avenue and Mission Street at 6:30 a.m.

Four male suspects followed a victim exiting the Gold Line in the 1500 block of Fremont Avenue and proceeded to hit the victim and steal their wallet and iPhone at 9 p.m. on July 12.

A suspect smashed the glass door of Dynasty Salon in the 1000 block of Fair Oaks Avenue and stole cash from the register between 8 p.m. on Aug. 28 and 7:40 a.m. on Aug. 29.

A suspect entered a victim’s unlocked 2019 Honda Civic in the 1700 block of Grevelia Street and stole a stereo and backpack between 5 p.m. on Aug. 25 and 8:20 a.m. on Aug. 29.

These alleged crimes and incidents were reported to the South Pasadena Police Department between Tuesday, Aug. 29, and Monday, Sept. 4. Information was gathered from a weekly crime summary published by SPPD’s Crime Prevention Unit.
