South Pasadena kicks off its Concert in the Park Summer series at Garfield Park on June 23, with the band Anything for Salinas starting off the first of four performances.
Hosted by the Community Services Department, guests are encouraged to bring picnics, blankets and lawn chairs to the free outdoor concert, which runs from 5 to 7 p.m.
The next concert will be held on July 28 featuring the Blue Breeze Band. The city will host two concerts in August, starting with Mirage: Visions of Fleetwood Mac on Aug. 4 and concluding with Smooth Sounds of Santana on Aug. 18.
