A Marengo Elementary School tradition continued on May 31 as fifth graders took part in three events that celebrated their upcoming promotion: a dance, picnic and foam party.
In the morning, parents arrived on campus for a special presentation of the May Pole Dance as performed by the Class of 2024. Afterwards, families settled in for a picnic on the lawn with their fifth graders before the main event, the Soapy Surprise Foam Party. The graduates reveled in the sudsy fun as other classes looked on excitedly, envisioning their turn as fifth graders.
