HomeCommunity NewsStudent Sock Drive Helps Union Station Community NewsFront-Grid Student Sock Drive Helps Union Station By Outlook Newspapers April 10, 2024 0 163 FacebookTwitterWhatsApp South Pasadena High School students Miles Goodrich, Andrew Kim and Hrag Ourichian helped aid the homeless individuals by organizing donations of socks. Collection boxes with the sock drive poster were placed at SPHS classrooms and the South Pasadena Middle School office. With the schools and Tahoe Scotty’s in Pasadena, approximately 2,000 pairs of socks were donated. The socks were then given to Union Station Homeless Services and the SPHS organizers presented their work to a SkillsUSA judge to help secure a spot in the charitable state competition. - Photo courtesy Kim family First published in the April 4 print issue of the South Pasadena Review.
