City to Honor the Fallen With Memorial Day Service

The South Pasadena Community Services Department will host its annual Memorial Day Program on Monday, May 27, at 9 a.m. at the War Memorial Building, located at 435 Fair Oaks Ave.
The event will include the color guard presented by Boy Scout Troop 333, the national anthem sung by Miranda Miller and recognition of military service persons. The guest speaker for the event is Mary Tallouzi with the Wounded Warrior Project. The event will conclude with live bagpipes performed by Megan Kenney, refreshments and a viewing of the Legion Room.
Dial-A-Ride is available to transport residents ages 55 years and older to the event with advance reservation. To schedule an appointment, contact the transit division at (626) 403-7368.
In honor of Memorial Day, city offices will be closed on May 27. Services will resume on Tuesday, May 28.
