The South Pasadena High School Drama department’s ensemble cast and student producers recently had their last rehearsal before the opening night of the school’s fall drama, “TRAP.”
Stephen Gregg’s psychological thriller, which debuted on campus in the Little Theater on Nov. 3, included five performances over two weekends, with the final curtain call on Sunday, Nov. 12, at 7 p.m.
The plot of “TRAP” unpacks a strange phenomenon from different perspectives in a documentary style. “The whole play is a spoiler,” said Nick Hoffa, SPHS drama director. “I’m uncomfortable even talking about it right now — I just don’t want to give anything away. All I’ll say is it’s a really fun ride and the cast has come up with amazing ways to surprise and entertain the audience.”
Ticket information for the final weekend of performances is available at southpasdrama.com.

First published in the November 10 print issue of the South Pasadena Review.
