South Pasadena High School held its third annual Student Voter Registration drive between Oct. 9 and Oct. 13.
In California, eligible students who are 16 to 17 years old are able to preregister, and those 18 and older are able to register to vote.
Seniors from Maryann Nielsen’s AP government and Alisia Engelhard’s civics classes at SPHS volunteered their time during lunch to help students preregister and register to vote so that their voices may be heard in upcoming elections.
