South Pasadena Police Department Crime Report

A homeowner discovered their residence, which was under construction at the time, was burglarized in the 2000 block of Oak Street. Sometime between 1 p.m. on Oct. 29 and 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 30, a suspect cut the lock of a gate to gain entry to the residence and stole copper pipes and wiring.

An AT&T store in the 900 block of Fair Oaks Boulevard was burglarized after a suspect entered the store and forcefully untethered security cables from a cellphone before taking it from the store.

Three suspects robbed a Trader Joe’s grocery store in the 600 block of Mission Boulevard at 11:30 a.m. on Oct. 30. After entering the store, the suspects were seen hiding merchandise in their bag. When a store employee confronted the trio, one of the suspects kicked the employee. The three suspects were arrested with alcohol and other merchandise in their possession.

These alleged crimes and incidents were reported to the South Pasadena Police Department between Tuesday, Oct. 24, and Monday, Oct. 30. Information was gathered from a weekly crime summary published by SPPD’s Crime Prevention Unit.
