City Offers Halloween Treats

The city of South Pasadena is treating residents with several promotions to celebrate Halloween.
One residence and one business will be named “best decorated” and win the right to have a yard or window sign placed at their home on Halloween night.
Photos should be submitted to the city by Oct. 29 either by social media or by email at socialmedia@southpasadena.gov.
Meanwhile, the city’s community services department is hosting a Halloween “Spooktacular” Friday, Oct. 27, at Orange Grove Park, 815 Mission St., from 5:30-8 p.m. There will be music inflatables, food and more.

The South Pasadena Senior Center is hosting its annual Halloween luncheon, Oct. 31, at 11:30.
There will be a costume competition which includes overall best costume, most creative costume; best duo costume and scariest costume.
A costume must be worn for a chance to win the costume competition.
The cost is $3. Reservations are required and can be made by calling (626) 403-7360. The Senior Center is located at 1102 Oxley St.
